Grounded Movement directors Temujin Gill and Sunanda Biswas have vast experience of working within the public domain. Their skills at engaging with and encourage people of all ages, abilities and cultures to take part and let go of their inhibitions are unquestionable. Whether this is a night out at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club with a live band, a day event with DJ snuff and jams at the Southbank Centre or Love Supreme Festival where people have purely come to have fun and kick-back, the end result is always the same, an eclectic and inclusive celebration of dance, music and coming together.

Grounded Movement’s Dance Through The Decades is a fun and infectious journey through the iconic social dances and music from the Roaring 20’s to present day. There’s something here for everyone, from Charleston and Lindy Hop, to Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and beyond. Join London 2012 Olympic Choreographers, Temujin Gill and Sunanda Biswas, for a vibrant mix of performance, audience participation, easy to learn moves and flash-mob dance along sequences for all to enjoy. Great for families as well as hard core festival goers alike, and a guaranteed event to get everyone dancing to the music they love.

The joy of the crowd as you won them round and got them to lose their inhibitions! It was really wonderful
— Genevieve Christie (Director) First Light Festival
